Where to find us!

Halifax Circus, located in downtown Halifax, is a non-profit cooperative of professional circus artists and teachers.

Our teachers are all highly skilled professionals that also perform professionally. Fun and Safety are parallel values at Halifax Circus; Our staff are not only certified, but continuously learning and progressing their skills.

Our performers have performed across North America and will be sure to delight and entertain any audience. From small town gatherings, to large scale corporate events.

We have a threefold mission: to practice and perform circus work at the highest level, to teach those skills to students at our school, and to work with youth at risk through our social circus initiatives.

Halifax Circus is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, and we acknowledge them as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land.

Mi’kma’ki includes all of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, part of New Brunswick, the Gaspé region of Quebec, part of Maine, and southwestern Newfoundland.
